TAX information

* On request all legal efforts are made to reduce applicable import duties
(or GST or V.A.T. or other Taxes) in various countries,
and in most cases there is little or none payable.
However, our prices exclude such fees (if applicable).

* If you are purchasing this item as a gift please be sure to let us know so that we can mark the customs papers accordingly.

* Because taxes are differnet in each country... GST / VAT and other taxes are NOT included in prices listed.

*We will do all that we can to help you legally minimize your VAT exposure on your request.
In any event, we are not responible for tax (VAT).

There are NEVER any additional taxes on computer items and accessories sent to USA.


WARRANTY RETURN INFORMATION
* All warranties require return to Conics.Net in Japan (customer pays postage unless DOA)

* NOTE: If items are "lost in the post" and under valued to avoid high tax
Insurance is only covered upto the marked value.

* The warranty offered with the items on Conics.Net requires return to Conics.Net in Japan.
(as with all other PCs etc... Damage due to miss-use is not covered unless stated, neither are software problems)
Full warranty terms are in Japanese and available on request, we provide no English translation, Japanese Makers etc are pretty relaxed,
but if they determine improper use, this will be out of our hands.

The warranty period is from the day you receive the item
Warranty cannot be extended after you receive the item.
(if there is no mention of a warranty, please ask for the period).

 

*NOTE to buyers of the SL-C700 / C750 / C760 / C860 / C1000 / C3000 using their PDA on 220-240V
warranty is VOID* if you do not use the Conics supplied AC adapters and converters
or (Sharp Europe Adapter Model No: EA-70S).

*NOTE to buyers of the SL-XXXX
warranty is NOT void if you install another OS, please try the alternatives if you like.....
but if you get it into the "brick" state, and can not recover you may need to send it back to be reset.



Order Cancelations
* Any order can be cancelled at anytime BEFORE payment.
In some cases it may be impossible to cancel an order once payment is complete.
*(if payment has been made, 25% restocking fee will be due in ALL cases)
It is important to clarify any points you maybe unsure of BEFORE you send funds.
Any such cancelation refund will be processed at the expense of the customer, and will be refunded by our chosen method
.

A Note on LCD Monitors and Notebook Displays
LCD monitors and notebook displays sometimes develop a defect known as "dead pixels".
A dead pixel occurs when the smallest block that makes up an image on the screen (also called a "pixel")
becomes locked in a certain state. For example, a pixel could lock on to a red colour at all times.
Manufacturers of LCD monitors and notebook displays expect this defect to occur to a limited extent.
Therefore, there is no warranty for any dead pixels unless and until your display has 8 or more
such dead pixels in a group or a line.

A Note about mistakes / spelling / specification and translation errors
Although we strive to be accurate at all times, there maybe some errors on this site.
When we find a mistake we will correct it as soon as possible, that said, if you think there is an error please contact us to confirm the possible error.

A Note about use of Products sold on Conics.Net
All items must be used in accordance with the warranty terms and manuals (these are available only in Japanese, we provide no translation)
If you are not satisfied with the conditions stipulated in the Manual and or Warranty, please do not buy anything from this site.
(Conics provides CUSTOMER support for all the devices sold here, unless otherwies stated)

A Note about our Location
ALL items ship from Japan unless other-wise stated.

We keep no stock in Australia, this address is not responsible for warranty issues,
if you have any problems with the PC you must return it to my Japan company address (this address on your invoice).
Basically the Australian company was setup to collect payments which are forwarded to my Japan company approx once a month
- think of it as a bank account for for the Japan company in Australia.
(as you would expect no TAX or GST is included in our prices, TAX is charged when the item reaches your country if required)
Also I live in Japan most of the year, so will not be able to assist you in Australia except via phone and email.
ALL staff in Japan speak English and Japanese only, if you are not confident speaking, we can assist via email / chat.
